Use the Netherton Foundry spun iron baking cloche and baking plate to get the perfect crust on your loaves, every time. 

The baking plate works like a pizza stone when preheated in the oven to ensure your bread has a crispy bottom, while the bell-shaped cloche retains steam and stabilises oven temperatures to ensure even heat distribution for an all-over golden crust.

Great for a simple sourdough or an enriched focaccia; the baking cloche set is perfect for all bread types. Or use the baking plate on its own to create crispy pizza bases.

Spun iron is wonderfully lightweight, but gives you all the lifetime benefits of heavier cast iron. The baking plate comes pre-seasoned with natural flax oil – this gives the spun iron a non-stick patina, which develops with every use. Ideal for cooking on stove ranges, gas, electric and wood fired ovens, or take your culinary skills outside and use on a BBQ or open fire. 

Caring for the Baking Cloche & Plate

Hand wash only, dry thoroughly after washing.

If you need to scrub, use a plastic bristle brush in hot soapy water, but avoid anything harsher. Avoid detergents completely.
